ContentIn alternative
People who search for a ContentIn alternative are usually paying for a weekly LinkedIn rhythm, then asking which part of that rhythm they actually need. ContentIn is an AI ghostwriter for founders, coaches, and consultants. It reads your profile and past posts, runs a short interview, plans the week from material you already have, drafts in that voice, and publishes on a schedule through LinkedIn's official API. Analytics sit on the same account. Company pages, leads, a Telegram bot, and an MCP server open on the higher plan.
Boykli covers production for one person. You start from a rough idea, a conversation, a YouTube video, an article, or a document. The app writes the LinkedIn post, can design a carousel PDF with your brand kit, can make an image, and can queue the result on the personal profile you connect. It does not plan two posts every Sunday, it does not train a model on twenty of your old posts, it does not chart impressions, and it does not attach a first comment.
If the subscription is paying for the Sunday plan, the voice file, the analytics dashboard, scheduled comments, a company page, or seats for clients, switching is a downgrade. If the subscription is paying because the draft and the carousel are still the slow part, and you post as yourself, the products overlap on drafting and a personal-profile queue, then split on how the words are made and what else the bill includes.
Prices below are from the pricing and FAQ on contentin.io as of 25 October 2026, and from boykli.com the same day. ContentIn's cards show the yearly price. The FAQ states the month-to-month price beside it. Recheck the page before you buy. Older ContentIn articles still describe an Essentials plan at $19 a month that does not include the ghostwriter. That card is not in the pricing section of the homepage now.
The job, side by side
| Boykli | ContentIn | |
|---|---|---|
| Where a post starts | A rough idea, Voice Agent, a YouTube video, an article link, a document, a series, or the ideas library. Seven write modes: short, medium, long, YouTube, article, series, document | A profile import plus at least 20 past posts, a short interview, and a knowledge base of docs, links, and notes. Every Sunday the week is planned from your own material: two posts on Growth, three on Pro, one question each. Unlimited ghostwriter drafts on both paid plans. Ideas from your sources: 50 a month on Growth, unlimited on Pro (fair use) |
| Voice | Voice Agent is a live conversation that becomes posts for that session. There is no style model built from your archive, and edits do not retrain one | Trains on your hooks, sentence rhythm, and topics. Edits and published posts feed the next draft. Custom AI instructions are a Pro feature |
| Carousels and images | The model designs the slides. Output is a PDF with a brand kit (colors, profile, handle, logo). Separate image generations are not slides. BYOK has no Boykli generation cap. Managed includes 150 carousels and 150 images a month | AI carousels: 4 a month on Growth, unlimited on Pro under fair use. Growth also has a quote-card and static carousel designer, a media library, and a GIF library. AI images: 20 a month on Growth, 100 a month on Pro |
| Scheduling | Personal LinkedIn profile only. You pick the days, the time of day, and the timezone. The next item takes the next open slot. No scheduled first comment and no company page | Unlimited scheduling on the personal profile, through LinkedIn's official API, on Growth and Pro. Scheduled first comments on your own posts. Company pages are on Pro |
| Analytics and leads | No post analytics and no lead list. Algorithm is a plain-language read of LinkedIn's public notes. Radar is a feed of articles you can turn into drafts | A profile analytics dashboard on Growth, including a Monday recap against your own numbers. Pro adds leads analytics (ICP fit, conversions, CSV export). A viral post library is on Growth |
| Who it posts as | The personal profile you connect. No company page, no client approval, no team calendar | Growth is one personal profile. Pro adds company pages. Ghostwriter / Agency is custom pricing for multiple LinkedIn profiles, team seats, and approval flows |
| How you connect | LinkedIn OAuth on the personal profile you publish from | ContentIn states it is a verified LinkedIn app and connects with official OAuth. It does not ask for your LinkedIn password. Pasting a public profile URL is how it reads posts for the voice model |
| What you pay | BYOK $29/month or Managed $88/month. A paid seat is required before the app will write, create, publish, or schedule. Logged-in visitors can browse Radar and Algorithm without one | Growth $39/month or $31/month billed yearly. Pro $59/month or $48/month billed yearly. Ghostwriter / Agency is custom. No free plan. A 7-day trial asks for a card. The FAQ says the first payment carries a 30-day refund. A separate free post generator on the site writes sample drafts with no login |
The feature rows for ContentIn come from that homepage, including the plan bullets and the FAQ. MCP access, listed under the product's feature set, is included on Pro and connects an assistant such as Claude or Cursor to the ContentIn account. The Telegram bot, also Pro, is for writing and scheduling from a phone.

LinkedIn posts, AI carousels, images, and scheduling on a personal profile. BYOK is $29/month. Managed is $88/month.
boykli.com →Growth is the drafting plan, and it is also a measurement plan
The number people quote first is ContentIn Growth at $31 a month billed yearly, or $39 month to month. That card is the one ContentIn calls the Ten-Minute Week for a personal profile. Two posts are planned every Sunday from material you already have, with one question per post. You also get unlimited ghostwriter drafts trained on your posts, unlimited scheduling on one profile, a scheduled first comment, an idea store, up to 50 AI ideas a month, 4 AI carousels a month, 20 AI images a month, AI comments, style training, a viral post library, document upload, a quote-card and static carousel designer, a media and GIF library, and a profile analytics dashboard with a Monday recap.
Pro is $59 a month, or $48 a month billed yearly. It raises the planned week from two posts to three, lifts ideas and carousels to unlimited under fair use, raises AI images to 100 a month, and adds custom instructions, repurposing of your best angles, the Telegram bot, company pages, leads analytics with CSV export, the founder WhatsApp group, and the MCP server. Ghostwriter / Agency is the quote-only plan for several LinkedIn profiles, team seats, and an approval flow. ContentIn does not publish a per-seat price for that plan on the homepage.
Boykli has two public seats on the same product, and both are for one person. BYOK is $29 a month. You bring an OpenRouter key for chat and images and a Google AI Studio key for Voice Agent. Boykli does not add a monthly generation cap on that seat. You still pay those providers. Managed is $88 a month and includes the models inside monthly caps: 210 posts, 150 carousels, 150 images, 25 Voice Agent sessions, and 130 post refinements. There is no second price that unlocks analytics, because there is no analytics product. There is no org plan and no free trial that opens generation. Browsing Radar and Algorithm while logged in is not that trial.
On a single personal profile, BYOK at $29 is under Growth at $39 month to month and under Growth at $31 billed yearly. It buys generation and a queue, and it leaves out the Sunday plan, the voice file, the first comment, the viral library, and the dashboard. Managed at $88 is higher than Pro at $59 month to month and higher than Pro at $48 billed yearly. That gap is real. Pro includes company pages, leads, MCP, the Telegram bot, and a larger media allowance. Managed includes none of those, and it meters carousels and images. Compare the job, then the price. Five Boykli subscriptions are five logins. They are not a Ghostwriter / Agency workspace.
Carousels are a quota on Growth and a design step on Boykli
ContentIn treats the carousel as one format inside the publishing loop. Growth includes 4 AI carousel generations a month, plus a quote-card maker and a static carousel designer you can use without spending that AI count the way a generated deck would. Pro removes the monthly carousel cap under fair use and raises the image cap from 20 to 100. The public carousel page describes themes sized for LinkedIn, editable slide text, a branding panel, and PDF export, including square and portrait sizes. The deck is something you adjust, then attach to a scheduled post.
Boykli starts the carousel from the other end, which is the choice described in building Boykli. The carousel page asks a model to design the slides, then renders a PDF. There is no catalog of layouts you fill in, and there is no four-a-month carousel quota on either public seat. Designs exist. The default is Neo-Brutalist, and you can pick which model draws the deck. The brand kit lives on the carousel page: colors, your profile, your LinkedIn handle, and a logo. It is not a stack of client kits. The PDF is a file you can download, and you can publish it with the caption to the personal profile you connect. Managed still counts those PDFs against 150 carousels a month. BYOK does not.
Images are a separate Boykli generation. They are not slides and they are not a quote card with your avatar on a fixed layout. If the asset you need is "this sentence, my face, one click," ContentIn's quote-card tool is the one that names that job. If the asset is a single illustration or a photograph of the topic, that is Boykli's image button, with its own cap on Managed.
A practical test: take one idea you would actually post, such as a framework from a customer call. In ContentIn on Growth you can drop the story into the week's plan, answer the question it asks, edit the draft, spend one of the four AI carousels or build a static deck, attach it, and schedule a first comment with the link. In Boykli you judge whether the generated slides are something you would put your name on, then fix the post text and the brand kit if the colors or the handle are wrong. If you want to restyle a template and attach a comment under the post, ContentIn is the instrument built for that. If you want a deck that was not filled into a shared template, and you do not need the comment queued, Boykli is the one built for that. A wrong claim on a generated slide is still your post either way. Supergrow's template-editor comparison is Supergrow alternative.
The voice file is the product, and Boykli does not keep one
ContentIn's own FAQ says the ghostwriter builds a personal model from at least 20 existing LinkedIn posts, then keeps learning from drafts you edit and posts you publish. The onboarding interview loads what you are building, who you talk to, and the stories that are not on the profile. Documents, links, and voice notes go into the same knowledge base. The homepage says most people change less than 10 percent of a draft once that file is full, and that by week eight the drafts are hard to tell from their own writing. That is a claim about their product. It is also the reason a thin profile is a bad start: twenty posts is the floor they name, and a brand-new account does not have them.
Boykli does not import that archive and does not store a style model. Voice Agent is a live conversation that becomes posts for that session. It is one write path, not a persona applied later to every carousel. The other paths are the seven write modes on Create posts. Series means several connected posts from one idea. YouTube, article, and document mean the source is a video, a link, or a file. Radar is a feed of articles you can start a draft from. It is not a library of viral posts. The ideas library holds your ideas, not someone else's winners. There is no customer MCP server that drives the queue from an outside assistant, and there is no Telegram bot.
That is a narrower product on purpose. The words are supposed to start from something you said or found this week, and you read them before they go out. If the reason ContentIn feels worth it is the voice file plus the Sunday plan plus a Monday recap of how those posts did against your own median, Boykli will not absorb that stack at $29. People who want a viral database, comments, and leads in a different suite are usually in the Taplio alternative comparison. People who want AI writing in the same app as an engagement feed and scored leads are in MagicPost alternative. ContentIn sits nearer the ghostwriter: a trained voice, a planned week, a queue, and a dashboard, with company pages and leads gated on Pro.
Measurement and the first comment are the parts you give up
ContentIn tracks the profile on Growth. The Monday recap says what went out, how it did against your own numbers, and what is next. The scheduler also queues a first comment, which is how many people drop a link or a lead magnet after the post is live. Pro adds leads analytics: who fits the ICP, what converted, and a CSV export. AI comments, on Growth, draft replies from your pillars. None of that is a promise about reach. It is a record of what already happened, plus a place to put the follow-up line.
Boykli does none of that. The Algorithm page explains LinkedIn's public algorithm notes in plain language. It will not rank your posts and it will not pick a slot from your history. Radar will not tell you who engaged. The scheduler does not attach a first comment. LinkedIn's own post view still shows impressions and engagement for posts it still retains. That is the place to look if you leave ContentIn's dashboard and still want a number. It is not a Monday recap, a lead export, or a client approval.
Both products publish through LinkedIn's official connection. ContentIn states it is a verified LinkedIn app and that the same connection can see posts you published by hand. Boykli connects the personal profile with LinkedIn OAuth and publishes from that connection. Official OAuth is not a promise that LinkedIn will show your post to more people. It is a statement about how the post leaves the app. Boykli still will not publish a company page, and it will not publish as a client who never logged in.
A week of posts on one profile
This is the Boykli path. It assumes you are the person whose name is on the profile.
- Collect the raw material before you open a composer. A note from a call, a YouTube link, an article, or a file is enough. Voice Agent is the path when the material is still a conversation. Radar is the path when you want articles to start from. Skip Algorithm unless you want the public notes. It will not score the draft or pick a slot.
- Write on Create posts. Match the mode to the source: short, medium, or long for a note; YouTube, article, or document when there is a video, a link, or a file; series when you want several posts from one idea. Read the draft as something you would sign. Boykli will not check it against a model trained on your last twenty posts, because there isn't one.
- Build the carousel on the carousel page when the idea is a deck. Set the brand kit there if the colors, handle, or logo should appear. The output is a PDF. Judge the slides. If you need a quote card, a static template, a scheduled first comment, or more than a personal profile, this is the step where ContentIn is the better instrument. An image, if you need one that is not a slide, is a separate generation.
- Connect the personal profile and queue the post. You choose the days, the time of day, and the timezone. The next item takes the next open slot, and you can reorder. There is no company page and no best-time heatmap. How that calendar behaves is in LinkedIn scheduling tool.
- Keep finished pieces in the library. Boykli will not list impressions, will not compare the post to your median, and will not draft the first comment. That review, if you still want it, stays in ContentIn or in LinkedIn's own numbers.
A week whose real work is "approve three clients and export who converted" never belongs in this list. That week is ContentIn Ghostwriter / Agency, or at least Pro if the company page and the lead export are the point.
Who should move, and who should not
Move toward Boykli if you post as one person, the hour disappears before a draft exists, and you want the carousel designed rather than filled into a template you then restyle. BYOK at $29 is the seat when you will bring OpenRouter and Google AI Studio keys. Managed at $88 is the seat when you want Boykli's models inside the caps above. The product itself is the place to confirm the current cards.
Stay on ContentIn Growth if the thing you pay for is the Sunday plan, a voice trained on your own posts, a scheduled first comment, a viral library, and a profile dashboard, and two planned posts a week is enough. Stay on Pro if you also need a third planned post, company pages, leads analytics, the Telegram bot, MCP, or the higher image and carousel allowance, and the $59 or $48 price is acceptable for that bundle. Stay on Ghostwriter / Agency if several profiles need seats and an approval flow. Boykli has no organisation roles and no per-seat company plan.
Use both only with a clean handoff. Boykli can produce the draft, the PDF, and a personal-profile queue. ContentIn can hold the voice file, the weekly plan, the first comment, the dashboard, the company page, and the client roster. Paying for both and expecting either one to absorb the other's missing half wastes one of the subscriptions.
FAQ
Is Boykli a ContentIn alternative for LinkedIn scheduling and drafting?
For one personal profile, yes, when the work is drafts, AI-designed carousel PDFs, images, and a queue you set yourself. ContentIn also drafts and schedules, and it adds a voice model, a Sunday plan, analytics, and a first comment on Growth. Boykli does not replace that second half. If the search is only "where do I put next Tuesday's post," both can queue a personal profile. They do not queue it the same way, and only ContentIn adds the comment and the company page.
Does the $29 Boykli plan include what ContentIn Growth includes?
No. Growth at $31 a month billed yearly, or $39 month to month, is the trained ghostwriter, two planned posts a week, unlimited scheduling on one profile, a first comment, 4 AI carousels, 20 AI images, 50 ideas, a viral library, and profile analytics. Boykli BYOK at $29 a month is generation and a personal-profile queue on your own model keys, without that planner, that voice file, that comment, or that dashboard. Managed at $88 a month hosts the models inside the caps listed above.
Does Boykli copy my voice from old LinkedIn posts?
No. ContentIn's FAQ says the model is built from at least 20 existing posts and then updated from edits and published posts. Boykli's Voice Agent turns a live conversation into posts for that session. It does not store a style model built from your archive. You still read the draft before it goes out. A new LinkedIn account is a weak start for ContentIn's method and an ordinary start for Boykli, because Boykli is waiting on the note you bring, not on the archive.
Can I schedule a company page, a first comment, or a client's approval?
Not in Boykli. Scheduling is the personal profile you connect. ContentIn Growth already schedules that profile and a first comment under your own post. Company pages start on Pro, at $59 a month or $48 billed yearly. Ghostwriter / Agency is the custom plan for multiple profiles, team seats, and approval flows. Boykli has no equivalent seat.
Does Boykli show impressions or find leads?
No. ContentIn's profile dashboard is on Growth, and leads analytics with CSV export are on Pro. Boykli does not chart impressions and does not score people who engaged. The Algorithm page is reading material about LinkedIn's public notes. LinkedIn's own analytics remain available on LinkedIn.
What does the ContentIn trial include, and does Boykli match it?
ContentIn's FAQ says there is no free plan. Every plan starts with a 7-day trial that asks for a card, and the first payment carries a 30-day refund. The homepage also points at a free post generator that writes sample drafts from a public profile with no login and no card. That generator is not the scheduler. Boykli does not offer a generation trial. Logged-in visitors can browse Radar and Algorithm without a paid seat. Writing, carousels, images, Voice Agent, LinkedIn publish, and scheduling require one.
Can I move my ContentIn workspace into Boykli?
No. The voice model, the knowledge base, drafts, the calendar, analytics history, and any client approvals stay in ContentIn. Posts that already went live stay on LinkedIn. Cancelling ContentIn before you have copied anything you still need means Boykli has nothing to show in its place. Their 30-day refund, if you are still inside the first payment, is their billing rule. It is not a migration path.
