Hypefury vs Taplio for cross-posting and LinkedIn automation
Hypefury and Taplio show up in the same search when a founder wants one login to write, schedule, and “automate LinkedIn.” They sell different jobs. Hypefury is a multi-channel scheduler: one editor, a queue, and a cross-post switch onto the networks you connect. Taplio is a LinkedIn growth suite: a viral-post library, AI writing on the higher plans, a LinkedIn scheduler, analytics, comments, and, on Pro, lead outreach. Taplio does not publish the other networks Hypefury lists.
The phrase “cross-posting and LinkedIn automation” hides that split. Cross-posting means the same draft leaves one composer and lands on more than one network. LinkedIn automation, on these two sites, means a queue that publishes for you, plus extras that comment, reply, DM, or send connection requests. Those extras are a different risk from a clock on a post you approved.
Prices below are from Hypefury’s pricing page and Taplio’s pricing page on 26 October 2026. Recheck both before you buy. Hypefury’s page still mixes current plan names with older wording. Taplio’s annual column is a second set of numbers on the same comparison table.
Boykli is a third product, named where the job is producing the LinkedIn draft and a carousel PDF, then queueing that post on a personal profile. It does not cross-post to Bluesky, Threads, Instagram, or TikTok. The narrower write-ups are Taplio alternative and LinkedIn scheduling tool. How a thread you already wrote becomes a LinkedIn PDF, by hand, is repurpose a thread into a carousel.
What you are actually buying
Name the bottleneck before you compare logos. A solo founder usually has one of these:
- The draft does not exist yet. You have a call, a note, a video, or a document, and Monday is empty.
- The draft exists, and the same idea has to land on LinkedIn and on two or three other networks without a second writing session in each composer.
- You want a LinkedIn swipe file, AI credits, a comment workflow, and a list of people who engaged.
- You want a tool to comment, reply, DM, or send connection requests while you are away from the keyboard.
Hypefury’s plan cards answer the second job. The channel list on the pricing page is Bluesky, Threads, LinkedIn, Instagram, and TikTok. The features block lists cross-posting to connected channels, LinkedIn carousels or long posts, autoplugs (an automatic first comment), Instagram AutoDMs, an engagement builder for watched users and keywords, and “AI trained on your posts.” Taplio’s plan cards answer the third job, and the fourth once you are on Growth or Pro. Taplio’s pricing page is a LinkedIn product. It does not list those other networks.
A cross-post is still one idea wearing several formats. A LinkedIn document post, an Instagram image, a Threads text post, and a TikTok clip are different files. A switch that copies the caption does not redesign the carousel, and it does not rewrite the hook for a feed that shows three lines before “see more.”
Plan prices
Hypefury bills by connected channel, or as one all-channels price. The monthly cards on 26 October 2026 were Flexible at $6 per month for one channel, with each extra platform at another $6 per month, and Full at $19 per month with every listed channel included. A 7-day trial is offered with no credit card. The FAQ says there is no longer a free plan. The same FAQ still says “Starter plan,” which is not the name on the two cards. The page has a yearly billing toggle. This comparison uses the monthly figures that were on the cards. Confirm the yearly dollar amounts on the toggle before you pay a year up front.
Taplio bills one LinkedIn subscription. The monthly cards are Starter $39, Growth $69, and Pro $199. The comparison table’s annual column shows $32, $49, and $149 per month. There is a 7-day trial described as full Pro access, then you drop onto the plan you picked, and a 30-day money-back window after a charge. There is no permanent free publishing plan on the pricing page.
| Hypefury | Taplio | |
|---|---|---|
| Free or trial | No free plan. 7-day trial, no credit card required, on the plan cards | 7-day trial described as full Pro access. 30-day money-back after payment. No permanent free publishing plan |
| Entry paid plan | Flexible, $6/month for 1 channel. Each additional platform is another $6/month | Starter $39/month. Annual column shows $32/month. Card: schedule posts, track core metrics, build consistency |
| All-in or mid plan | Full, $19/month, all listed channels included. Card adds 5 Tweetshots a day instead of 2 | Growth $69/month. Annual column shows $49/month. Card adds AI writing, faster comments, and team collaboration |
| Top public plan | Full is the top public card. There is no third tier on the pricing page checked | Pro $199/month. Annual column shows $149/month. Card adds unlimited AI and lead outreach |
| LinkedIn only | One channel on Flexible: $6/month | Starter $39, or $32 on the annual column, before AI writing |
| Five listed networks | Flexible at 5 × $6 = $30/month. Full at $19/month is the cheaper card once you pass three channels | Those networks are outside the product. You would add a second scheduler and pay both |
| Who the bill counts | Connected channels, or one flat Full price. The FAQ says a ghostwriter or VA can be invited | One subscription tier, plus a team offer (multi-account, shared analytics, admin / writer / client roles, discount stated as up to 30%) |
Three channels on Flexible is $18 a month, one dollar under Full. Four channels is $24, so Full at $19 wins. Five channels is $30 versus $19. LinkedIn alone is the other math: Hypefury Flexible at $6 against Taplio Starter at $39. Starter’s card does not include AI writing. That row starts on Growth at $69, or $49 on the annual column.
Older reviews still quote Hypefury at $29, $65, $97, and $199, or a Twitter-first Standard and Business ladder. Those numbers are not the cards on the pricing page checked for this article. If a comparison you read still prices Hypefury as an X tool with LinkedIn as a paid add-on, it is describing a previous product.
Feature comparison
Hypefury’s rows follow the pricing page: the two cards, the channel list, the features checklist, and the FAQ. Where the page disagrees with itself, the table says so. Taplio’s rows follow the public comparison table. Where Taplio meters a feature, that table shows 250 AI credits and 500 comment credits against an unlimited column, which lines up with Growth versus Pro. Starter’s plan card lists scheduling, analytics, and consistency, and it does not list AI writing.
| Capability | Hypefury | Taplio |
|---|---|---|
| Networks on the pricing page | Bluesky, Threads, LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok | LinkedIn. The page is a LinkedIn growth product |
| X / Twitter | FAQ answer, in those words: Hypefury no longer supports X. A different FAQ answer still says the product can turn X/Twitter threads into LinkedIn carousels. The channel list does not include X | Not a listed network |
| Cross-posting | Features checklist: cross-posting to all connected channels. A separate block still says you cross-post to LinkedIn “with premium plan,” which is not the name on the Flexible or Full cards | No cross-post row. Other networks are outside the subscription |
| Where the words come from | Distraction-free editor, viral inspiration and writing prompts (the copy still says tweets, thread hooks, and niches), and a checklist line for AI trained on your posts | Viral post database listed as 5M+ posts. AI idea finder, post generator, “help me write,” draft improver, and repurpose-from-analytics, on the credit rows (250 on the metered column, unlimited on Pro) |
| LinkedIn carousels | Checklist: post LinkedIn carousels or long posts. FAQ: schedule LinkedIn posts and carousels. The page does not publish slide dimensions, a brand kit, or a page limit | AI carousel generator on the AI-credit rows. You also manage media assets in the product |
| Scheduling | Unlimited scheduling is on the Flexible card and again on the checklist. You write in one editor and schedule | Schedule posts, a custom queue, and a monthly or daily spread |
| First comment | Autoplugs, described as an automatic first comment, on the Flexible card and the checklist | Auto-comment on your own post from a keyword is a separate row. Comment credits are for engaging on other people’s posts |
| Comments, DMs, connection requests | Engagement builder: watch users and keywords, import Bluesky lists. AutoDMs are listed for Instagram. The page does not list LinkedIn connection requests or a LinkedIn lead database | Growth’s card says reply and comment faster. Comment credits (500 vs unlimited), curated-feed comments, auto-like on reply, auto-reply (2-day window vs 90 days). Pro adds a lead database, lists of likers and commenters, auto-DM, bulk DMs, and connection requests |
| Analytics | “Smarter analytics” with like and repost-style counts, follower growth, profile clicks, and a unified content history. The analytics copy on the page still says tweets | Core metrics on Starter. Comparison table lists analytics, a monthly stats email, and extension analytics |
| Instagram specifics | Business account. Text can be posted as a Tweetshot image. Flexible includes 2 Tweetshots a day. Full includes 5. AutoDMs for Instagram are on the Flexible card | Not a listed network |
| Team | FAQ: you can invite a ghostwriter or VA | Growth lists collaboration. The agency block lists shared analytics and admin, writer, and client roles |
| Extension and API | Not the rows the pricing page leads with | Chrome extension for stats, saves, and replies inside LinkedIn. Taplio says the extension works without a paid plan. Zapier, a Taplio API, and a LinkedIn MCP row are on the comparison table |
Two rows decide most purchases. If the week is “ship one caption to LinkedIn plus Threads, Bluesky, Instagram, or TikTok,” Hypefury Full at $19 is the card built for that, and Flexible at $6 is the card when only one of those networks is connected. If the week is “I still need LinkedIn words, a swipe file, and a comment system measured in credits,” that is Taplio Growth or Pro. Paying Taplio Starter at $39 to cross-post, or paying Hypefury Full at $19 and expecting a LinkedIn lead database, is the mismatch this search usually hides.

For the week when the LinkedIn draft, the carousel, and a personal-profile queue are the missing pieces. BYOK is $29/month. Managed is $88/month.
boykli.com →The same week, in three products
Boykli’s public seats are BYOK at $29/month and Managed at $88/month. Both seats are the same product. Managed includes monthly caps: 210 posts, 150 carousels, 150 images, 25 Voice Agent sessions, and 130 post refinements. BYOK uses your OpenRouter key for chat and images and your Google AI Studio key for Voice Agent. Boykli does not add a generation cap on that seat. You still pay those providers. A paid seat is required before the app will write, create a carousel or image, publish, or schedule. Logged-in visitors can browse Radar and Algorithm without one.
| Job in the founder week | Hypefury | Taplio | Boykli |

| Produce a LinkedIn post from notes, a call, a video, an article, or a file | Editor, inspiration prompts, and an “AI trained on your posts” line. The page does not describe ingesting a call or a PDF | AI writing on Growth (metered) and Pro (unlimited), from their generators and the viral library | Create posts: short, medium, long, YouTube, article, series, document. Voice Agent turns a conversation into drafts |
| Design a carousel PDF in your colors | Schedule a LinkedIn carousel. The pricing page does not describe a brand kit or a type ramp | AI carousel generator on the credit rows | Carousel page, brand kit, PDF on a paid seat. How that builder works is in LinkedIn carousel generator |

| Comment on other people’s posts, DM, or send LinkedIn connection requests | Engagement builder for watched accounts and keywords. Instagram AutoDMs. LinkedIn DMs and connection requests are not on the cards | Comment credits on Growth and Pro. Lead outreach on Pro | None of those. The queue publishes a post you approved |
A practical way to choose
Do this with last month’s actual work, not with the feature list you might use.
- List every network you published to in the last 30 days. Mark which of those names appear on Hypefury’s channel list: Bluesky, Threads, LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok. X is not on that list. The FAQ says X support is gone. If X is still a required destination, Hypefury’s current cards do not cover it, whatever an older review claims.
- If the list is one LinkedIn profile and the posts already exist, Hypefury Flexible is $6 a month for that one channel. Taplio Starter is $39, or $32 on the annual column, for scheduling, core metrics, and consistency, with AI writing on the next card up. A $39 LinkedIn suite is a poor trade when the only missing piece is a clock. It is a reasonable trade when you also want the viral library and you are willing to move to Growth for the writing credits.
- If the list is LinkedIn plus three of the other listed networks, price Full before you price Flexible. Four channels at $6 is $24. Full is $19 and includes every listed channel, with 5 Tweetshots a day instead of 2. Taplio will not post Threads, Bluesky, Instagram, or TikTok. You would keep a cross-poster beside it and pay both invoices.
- Open one real post you would cross-post and rewrite the LinkedIn version by hand before you trust the switch. The LinkedIn cut needs a first line that stands alone, line breaks a phone can scan, and, when the idea is a sequence, a PDF rather than a pasted thread. A caption that was written as a short social post often dies on LinkedIn because the point sits in post four of a thread the other network never had. The manual cut is the workflow in repurpose a thread into a carousel.
- If the count is “I still need the LinkedIn words,” put Taplio Growth ($69, 250 AI credits on the comparison table, or $49 on the annual column) next to Boykli’s $29 and $88 seats. Taplio’s words are tied to its viral library and its credit meter. Boykli’s words start from your material: a note, Voice Agent, a YouTube video, an article, a document, or a series. The constraint is intentional. The longer version is why Boykli was built. Hypefury’s inspiration panel and the “AI trained on your posts” line are writing aids inside a scheduler. They are not a system that returns a post plus a designed carousel from a call recording.
- If the count includes comment credits, lead lists, auto-DM, or LinkedIn connection requests, stay on the Taplio plan that lists them. Hypefury’s engagement builder and Instagram AutoDMs are a different surface. Boykli does not run any of those. Automated comments, bulk DMs, and connection requests are a different risk category from a queue that publishes one approved post. What LinkedIn has published about automated activity is covered in automated LinkedIn posting. Read that before you treat any vendor’s “safe automation” line as a guarantee.
- If you are about to connect several personal LinkedIn profiles and push the same text through all of them, stop. Duplicate posts across profiles are a common path to a restriction. One founder profile, with a post written for that profile, is the setup Boykli is built around. A cross-post to Threads or Bluesky is a different account on a different network. It is not a second LinkedIn identity.
A clean solo stack is one of these: Hypefury Flexible or Full when the words exist and the calendar has to cover LinkedIn plus the other listed networks; Taplio Growth or Pro when the viral library, AI credits, comments, or leads are the reason for the invoice; Boykli when the hour disappears before a LinkedIn draft and a carousel exist, and you will put your name on the result.
What a cross-post does to a LinkedIn carousel
Document posts are where the “one switch” claim gets thin.
Hypefury’s FAQ says you can schedule LinkedIn posts and carousels, and that the product can turn X/Twitter threads into LinkedIn carousels. The same page’s FAQ says X is no longer supported, and X is absent from the channel list. Treat the thread-to-carousel sentence as leftover copy until you watch it run on a current account. Even if a carousel file goes out, the pricing page does not say the slide is 1080×1080 or 1080×1350, does not name a safe zone, and does not say the file uses your colors. Dimensions and the 220px safe zone are in LinkedIn carousel dimensions. A caption cross-posted from Threads will not supply those.
Taplio’s comparison table lists an AI carousel generator on the credit rows. On Growth that spend comes out of the 250 AI credits. On Pro the AI column is unlimited. You are buying generation inside Taplio, on LinkedIn only, metered until you are on Pro. You are not buying Hypefury’s multi-network calendar.
Boykli builds the carousel PDF on the carousel page from the brand kit and publishes that PDF with the personal-profile post. It does not schedule the same PDF to Instagram, Threads, Bluesky, or TikTok. The practical split: design and queue the LinkedIn document in Boykli when the slides do not exist yet; cross-post a finished caption in Hypefury when the other networks are the point of the invoice; use Taplio’s generator when you want the carousel inside the same login as the viral library and the comment credits.
Instagram is the other format trap. Hypefury can turn a text post into a Tweetshot image and lists a daily cap: 2 a day on Flexible, 5 a day on Full. That image is not a LinkedIn PDF. AutoDMs on that card are for Instagram. They do not become a LinkedIn lead list.
Automation, in the narrow sense
Creators use “automation” for four different buttons. Separate them before you pay.
A schedule publishes a post you already approved, at a time you set. Both products sell this for LinkedIn. Boykli sells it for a personal profile. This is the button that matches “I do not want to sit in the composer at 8:15.”
An autoplug, on Hypefury, is an automatic first comment attached to the post. Taplio has a related row: auto-comment on your own post from a keyword. That is still your post’s thread, not outreach.
An engagement builder or a comment-credit system writes or queues replies on other people’s posts. Hypefury describes watching users and keywords, and importing Bluesky lists, so you can reply without scrolling. Taplio meters that work: 500 comment credits on the metered column, unlimited on Pro, including comments on curated feeds and on posts from people in your lead lists. Volume here is what LinkedIn’s own writing on inauthentic engagement is about. A queue of approved posts is not the same control.
A lead machine, on Taplio Pro, is the auto-DM, bulk DM, and connection-request block, plus lists of people who liked or commented. Hypefury’s page does not sell that LinkedIn block. It does sell Instagram AutoDMs. If the search that brought you here was “automate LinkedIn leads,” Taplio Pro is the card that states it, and Hypefury Full is the wrong invoice even though it is cheaper.
FAQ
Does Hypefury still cross-post from X to LinkedIn?
The pricing page’s channel list, checked 26 October 2026, is Bluesky, Threads, LinkedIn, Instagram, and TikTok. The FAQ answers “Does Hypefury still support X?” with no. A second FAQ answer still claims the product turns X/Twitter threads into LinkedIn carousels. Buy from the channel list. If X has to be in the calendar, this page does not show an X channel to connect. Cross-posting that the features checklist does describe is among the networks that are listed.
Can Taplio cross-post to Instagram, Threads, TikTok, or Bluesky?
No. Taplio’s pricing page is a LinkedIn growth product: scheduling, analytics, AI on Growth and Pro, comments, and lead outreach on Pro. A second network needs a second tool. Hypefury Full at $19 a month is the card that includes every network on Hypefury’s list. Stacking it under Taplio Growth at $69 is $88 a month before annual discounts, which is the same sticker as Boykli Managed, for a completely different pair of jobs.
Which is cheaper if I only post on LinkedIn?
Hypefury Flexible at $6 a month for one channel. Taplio Starter at $39, or $32 on the annual column, if you want Taplio’s scheduler, core metrics, and consistency tools and you will write the posts yourself. Taplio Growth at $69, or $49 annually, once AI writing and comment credits are the reason. Boykli BYOK at $29 or Managed at $88 when the missing work is the draft and the carousel, and you do not need the other networks.
Which is cheaper if I post on LinkedIn and four other networks?
Hypefury Full at $19 a month, against Flexible at $6 times five channels ($30). Taplio does not price this bundle, because it does not publish those networks. Add Taplio only if the LinkedIn swipe file, the credits, or the lead tools are worth a second subscription on top of the $19.
Does either tool replace writing the post?
Hypefury gives you an editor, a prompt library that still talks about tweets, and a line about AI trained on your posts. Taplio Starter does not include AI writing. Growth meters it at 250 AI credits. Pro lists unlimited AI posts. Boykli writes from material you supply and still expects you to read the draft before it is queued. A cross-post switch distributes a draft. It does not invent the decision the draft is about.
Will my Hypefury queue or Taplio lists move to Boykli?
No. Boykli cannot import a Hypefury calendar, a Taplio viral-post collection, a lead list, a comment-credit history, or an impressions archive. Export what you need before you cancel. A PDF you made elsewhere can be rebuilt on the carousel page from an outline. The swipe file and the chart stay in the product that collected them.
Is the engagement automation safe because the vendor says it behaves like a person?
Taplio’s pricing FAQ says the product is safe because it writes, comments, and engages the way a person would, and that it does not rely on hacks. That is the vendor’s claim. It is not a promise from LinkedIn. Hypefury’s engagement builder and Instagram AutoDMs are also vendor features, with their own caps. A post you wrote, approved, and placed on a schedule is the narrow automation this site is willing to put next to a personal profile. Comment pods, bulk connection requests, and unattended DMs are outside that. The public record on restrictions and limited distribution is in automated LinkedIn posting.
Use Boykli for the LinkedIn draft
Posts, carousels, images, Voice Agent, and a personal-profile queue. Cross-posting to other networks, comment credits, and lead outreach stay on the tools that sell them.
